The preamplifier shown uses a Germanium transistor and a tube, presenting a very high gain. The circuit was found in 1970 documentation and its 100 to 250 V power supply can be obtained from the amplifier itself with which it will operate. The input impedance is high and in this careful installation the signal cables must be taken. The no-value capacitor can have 100 nF to 470 nF, depending on the amplifier impedance and the desired frequency response.
