This symmetrical power source for currents up to 1 A was found in a 1986 documentation, serving mainly to supply circuits using operational amplifiers in instrumentation. Integrated circuits shall be fitted with heat sinks and the transformer shall have two 12 V or 15 V 1 A windings.
