With this circuit, of a 1977 Radio Shack documentation, it is possible to demonstrate the operation of a comparator by exciting a small 6 V lamp. We can change the circuit to excite a series LED with a 470 ohm resistor. The power supply must be according to the lamp and for LEDs it can be between 6 and 12 V.
