Now in 2011, researchers at the University of West England work on a robot that captures insects, which are also "digested" to generate electricity. A system that contains bacteria capable of digesting insects forms the bio-cell. The prototype was able to "eat" 100 insects in just 1 hour!

It is an ecologically correct pest control because it does not pollute the environment and the insects are used as "fuel" for the robot.

Let's take care that some crazy scientist does not perfect this invention creating a people-eating robot ...
