This circuit is indicated to operation with low intensity sources such as electret microphones and dynamic microphones. The gain is given by R1. Trhis resistor is choosen according the amplitude of the signal source. In the simulation we used a 3 mV x 1 kHz source having in the output a 2.5 Vpp signal.
Power comes from a 5 to 15 V sipply. C1 and C2 determine the dynamic characteristic of the circuit. Figure bellow shows the wave shapes obtained in th the virtual oscilloscope of the Multisim.
