This circuit cut the noise peaks by means of diodes so that they do not appear in the output signal. The circuit is interposed between noise sources and input amplifiers. It is to work with signals of turntables or shortwave receivers. The circuit is from an English magazine (1986), but with the changes can be mounted with current components. The transistor can be the BC548 or equivalent and the power source must have very good filtering.
