Launched in April 2017 by Texas Instruments, the TLV62568 is a high-efficiency synchronized Buck converter in SOT enclosures. See in this article some features of this component as well as applications.

The TLV62568 High-efficiency Buck Converter from Texas Instruments is available from Mouser Electronics and can be obtained from: http://www.mouser.com/search/refine.aspx?Ntk=P_MarCom&Ntt=117915062  .

It is a step-down converter for currents up to 1 A and input voltages in the range of 2.5 V to 5.5 V. The enclosure is SOT with the pinouts shown in figure 1.

An important point to highlight is the efficiency that reaches 95%.

We also have the characteristic frequency of operation of 1.5 MHz, and the quiescent current of 35 uA with an output voltage that can be adjusted between 0.6 V and the input voltage.

Protections and a power saving mode can also be found in this component and additional information such as graphs and wiring and electrical characteristics tables can be obtained from the datasheet.
