This circuit generates a train of pulses that depends on the time that is pressed PB and the value of the capacitor. The frequency of the pulses depends on the components connected to pins 6, 7 and 2 of the integrated circuit 555. The power may be between 5 and 15 V. The circuit is from a 1977 Signetics manual.
