Stepper Motor Control (CB1587E)

The MC1413 ULN2003 integrated circuit consists of a 7-bit step motor control, with 50 V x 500 mA output and TTL compatible input.



For computer interfacing applications and digital TTL circuits with these motors, the circuit shown in the figure is ideal. It is recommended to use a 12 V zener diode in series with the power supply (pin 9) in order to absorb the voltage generated by the windings of the motors in the switching (when they are switched off).
