Lamps in the range between 20 and 50 mA can be used. Voltage supply is according the lamp and frequency is adjusted by P1. C2 determines the frequency range and can have values between 10 and 220 µF. The circuit also operates with LEDs. Series resistors according the LED current must be added. Q2 is a BC548 for currents up to 50 mA. Higher currents can be supplied to the lamp using a BD136 or TIP32.
