The basic circuit of a flip-flop for use as a frequency divider or one-bit memory is shown here. This circuit is based in the 4027, a Dual J-K Master/Slave FIip-Flop with Set and Reset. It can be used as a ceII of a binary counter or divide-by-2 counter. The numbers in the diagram correspond to half of the package or one fIip-flop.
