One pulse in the output is produce at each 5 pulses applied to the input. The circuit uses CMOS logic and can be powered from 5 to 15 V sources. The maximum operation frequency depends on the power supply voltage and is about 10 MHz for a 10 V source. Figure bellow shows the simulation. Observe the adjustments for the oscilloscope and function generator to a correct display of the signals. The logic analyzer also can be used in this simulation.
