“I intend to replace the traditional lighting system in my house with LED lamps. They informed me that I also need to change the entire electrical installation. It is true?"

If you simply want to replace old-style, threaded lamps with modern LED lamps, you do not need to do anything. The replacement is straightforward, as common LED lamps operate with alternating voltage from the power grid, with the conversion circuits they need to power the LEDs inside. However, if you are going to modify the layout of the installation using special spots, LED strips and others, you need to have access to the network from the ceiling or another location to supply the converter circuits (sources) and eventually the new sockets in which the LEDs will be installed. The wires and procedures for installation are the same as for a regular installation.
