This circuit is from a publication of Hugo Gernsback making use of a triode valve newly invented that received the name of audion. The coil may be formed of 100 turns of wire 28 in a 3.5 cm tube with jacks for tuning. The high voltage battery can be replaced by a 60 to 120 volt source. The microphone must be carbon type.
