This oscillator by grid dip, but in this case, in a transistorized version, was obtained in an Argentine publication from 1973. The circuit can be assembled with a more modern silicon RF NPN transistor like the BF494 and small changes in values in R4 and R5. Details for building the coils for the different ranges are given in the table below the diagram. The supply is made with a voltage of 13.5 V from a battery. As this battery is no longer easy to obtain, we suggest using a small power supply.
