This voltage-controlled oscillator or Voltage Controlled Oscillator (VCO) uses a common unijunction transistor. The output frequency range depends on both the input voltage and the capacitor C. The circuit has a limit frequency on the order of a few tens of kilohertz and can be supplied with voltages from 6 to 18 V.
