The Nerve-test is a traditional electronic game. The player must pass a metal ring through a tortuous wire, without letting it touch that wire. If this occurs, the circuit trips indicating a fault. The winner is whoever manages to pass the ring to the end of the wire or even to commit fewer faults. The version of the figure fires an oscillator for a certain period, which emits a sound whenever there is a touch of the ring on the wire (fault). The circuit is timed, which means that regardless of how small the touch is, the sound emitted is always the same duration. This duration depends on C1 and R1, components that can be changed by the assembler. The transducer is a high-impedance piezoelectric capsule, and the circuit can be powered by standard batteries or batteries. Consumption is very low, since it occurs practically only when the sound is produced.
