We found this interesting circuit in a 1976 documentation. Its purpose is to increase the intensity of the harmonics of a sinusoidal signal, obtaining a distorted output. The circuit can make use of other varicaps and the adjustment is made in the 10k wire pot. Power is provided by a 9 V battery. You can increase the battery life with a 47k potentiometer. Normal consumption is 0.9 mA.
