A version of a monostable that uses the 4528, but is triggered by negative transitions of the input signal is shown here. This circuit operates just as the previous one does, and the resistor and capacitor have the same limits as in the previous case as well. The time constant is also given by these two components and is approximately R x C. The numbers of pins correspond to one of the two monstables of the 4028 package.
