The light effect presented was originally designed to be used on Christmas trees, but can also be used in shop windows and other locations. The CI 555 generates a pulse every 5 seconds, thus changing the sequencer output. Four capacitors connected to the transistor collectors were used in such a way that, when activated, they change the frequency of the 555. With this the triac is triggered initially in an increasing way and then alternately, resulting in very interesting effects.
