This simple detector uses a coil consisting of 150 turns of 30 or 32 wire on a ferrite rod as a sensing element. The circuit is from 1989, has a small range and the null adjustment is done in the trimpot. The output should be applied to a crystal earphone or piezoelectric capsule.
