This circuit has two stable states such that at each instant only one SCR leads. The state change is made by applying an input pulse to the SCR gates. The charge controlled in this case is made up of resistors, but the circuit can be modified to control non-resistive power loads such as incandescent lamps. The 1 uF capacitor must be depolarized.
