Thus, manufacturers indicate the pressure of the needle that is controlled by a counterweight in the arm. This pressure must be very well adjusted. In the indicative leaflets of the turntables there should be information about this adjustment and care must be taken so that it does not exceed the indicated values or even sudden movements of the arm scratch the disc. Anyway, make a digital copy of the recordings for the future, as the disc is not eternal.
