How can I measure the power of a speaker?

Measuring the resistance of a speaker gives no indication of its power or its impedance. We can get an idea of the power of a speaker by the thickness of the wire that is used in winding its moving coil. The thicker the wire, the stronger the current it supports, and therefore the stronger the speaker. One possibility for evaluation is by comparing with the wire thickness of other speakers whose power is known.
