This is an interesting didactic project. In experimental electromagnet activated by light.
When the LDR is in the dark, the electromagnet does not attract, but when illuminated, it will attract small metal objects such as pins and clips.
The circuit is powered by 3 batteries, serving to demonstrate the principle of operation of the LDR.
The electromagnet consists of 50 to 100 turns of fine wire (32) on a common nail.
In figure 1 we have the complete circuit for the experiment.
In figure 2 we have the actual mode of the assembly that does not need a chassis since only three components are used.
The LDR is of the ordinary round type.
