This sensitive short-wave receiver with only two tubes was obtained from an Argentine publication of 1966. The coil determines the tuned frequency range. For the range of 3 to 7 MHz, for example, wind 30 + 30 turns of wire 28 into a 2 cm diameter PVC or cardboard tube. The transformer has a secondary 220 V x 20 mA and a self-transformer can be used (see article V009).
The antenna for better reception should be external and long with 5 az 40 meters in length. The headset is high impedance, giving preference to a ceramic transducer. The smaller capacitors are all ceramics and resistor are all ½ W.
