This circuit activates a relay at dawn. The relay can be used to sound an alarm, turn on a radio or turn on the bedroom light. The sensor is in a location that can receive sunlight at dawn. The trigger point is adjusted in the potentiometer. The relay is 6 V for a supply with this voltage.
