This circuit is from a 1987 American publication called Electronics Handbook. The circuit can be easily assembled, as all components are common. L1 consists of 100 turns of wire 28 in a tube of 2 to 2.5 cm in diameter and C1 consists of a variable capacitor obtained from an unused transistor radio. The transformer can also be used from an old radio.
