This circuit was obtained in a 1979 101 Electronics Projects. The circuit can be assembled easily, since all the components are common. The circuit generates an audio tone that depends on C1 and R1. Q1 can be a BC548 and Q2 a BC558. The circuit works with voltages from 3 to 9 V. For voltages greater than 9 V use a BD136 for Q2.
