This circuit was obtained in an English magazine from 1980, but it can be easily assembled today. The transistor can be the BC558 and the 12 V x 50 mA relay. The circuit triggers a load after a time programmed by the position of the selection switch. The circuit can provide time intervals of up to a few hours with 10k to 1M trimpots.
