With the CMOS circuit shown, rectangular signals up to a few megahertz can have their frequency divided by the value selected in the switch. The exit signal is also rectangular. The supply can be done with voltages from 5 to 15V. The active cycle of the output signal is not 50%. The circuit was found in a 1984 publication.
