12 V motors and current up to a few amps can be controlled by this circuit that we found in a 1991 publication. It selected two preset speeds. The 2N3055 transistor must be mounted on a heatsink and the SL100 can be replaced with a BD135. The circuit is controlled by logic signals applied to the input. The settings for the selected speeds are made in P1 and P2.
