This experimental receiver was found in an English publication in 1979. It can receive medium-wave signals up to the short -wave range of about 30 MHz, depending on the coil. This coil should have 20 to 100 turns of wire 28 in a ferrite rod with plugs obtained in different positions to obtain a higher gain. The handset must be high impedance or piezoelectric with a 4k7 resistor in parallel. FETs can be BF494 or MPF102.
