This circuit of a voice-controlled switch, Vox or sonic switch was obtained in a Popular Electronics of the 1980s. The output must be applied to a power stage, for example, a transistor activating a relay. The circuit also has an audio output acting as a preamplifier. Equivalent operational amplifiers can be used, and the power source need not be symmetrical.
