This circuit provides just over ½ W to a small speaker. We found this configuration in an old Argentine magazine from 1973. The circuit uses transformers that can be found on radio or tape recorders at the time. We can implement this circuit with modern components by changing polarization resistors. Transformers, however, remain components that are difficult to obtain except in scrap.
