In this circuit, from a 1977 publication, we have the traditional version of a filter that rejects 1 kHz signals. See the math section for how to calculate the components of the double T for other frequencies. The symmetric source, in fact, can be made with voltages of 6, 12 V and other operational amplifiers can be used.
