This circuit from Radio Electronics magazine, March 1994 edition uses two LM388 bridged, providing a 4 W output. The circuit is powered by a simple 12 V source and uses an 8-ohm speaker as a load. Pins 3, 4, 5, 10, 11 and 12 must be connected to a larger copper area of the plate that will serve as a heat sink.
