The components used in this project from a 1970s publication are no longer common. For the integrated circuit we have no equivalent, but for the transistors we can use the pair TIP31 and TIP32 mounted on good heat radiators. The source must be symmetrical at 13 V with a current of at least 2 A. The filtering of the source must be excellent and the 5 ohms resistor R3 can be 4.7 ohms x 1 W. C3 can be 100 uF. Pins 3,4,5, 10,11 and 12 are connected to an extensive copper-plated area of the plate that functions as a heat sink.
