We found this circuit in a publication from the 1970s. It produces intermittent clicks on a speaker. The frequency of clicks can be changed by resistor R1. The SCR can be the TIC106 and the oscillation point adjustment is done in R2 which can be a 470 k trimpot. The circuit works with voltages from 12 V, but it will be easier to oscillate above 20 V. The capacitor can have values between 220 nF and 1 uF.
