In the circuit of the figure we have the production of rectangular signals of frequencies up to approximately 1 MHz. The oscillator in question has three outputs with characteristics that can be interesting for many projects. On pins 10 and 11 we have rectangular signals of the same frequency, but with inverted phases, while on pin 13 we have a rectangular signal with twice the frequency of the previous ones. The operating frequency depends on Rx and Cx and can be calculated using the formula next to the diagram. Rx must not be less than 1 k ohms. This oscillator can be powered by voltages between 3 and 15 V and the maximum operating frequency, which depends on this voltage, is around 2 MHz for 12 V of power.
