The circuit shown in the figure can generate signals of good intensity up to a frequency of 30 MHz, depending only on the crystal used and the output tank circuit. The circuit formed by L1 and VC must be resonant in the operating frequency of the circuit. We observed that the MF102 and BF245 junction field effect transistors practically have the same characteristics, but their pinout is different. The signal is removed by 3 or 4 turns of a coil wound over L1.
