This circuit generates two pulses per cycle of alternating voltage for full wave control. The circuit is from a Motorola publication from 1975 and can use triacs of the ICT series and the unijunction can be the 2N2646. The zener can have voltages from 15 to 25 V. The load depends on the Triac.
