This circuit, which provides a power of up to 3.5 W, can be supplied with voltages from 9 to 14 V. The circuit is from the 1994 Linear Applications Handbook by National Semiconductor. The voltage gain is 200 and the values with narrower tolerances can changed in a less critical application.
