This circuit is from a publication on Motorola triacs from 1975. In it we have the way to fire a triac with MOS logic. The transistor can be the BD135. The circuit needs a current from the MOS port in the order of 8 mA. The power of the CMOS port can be done with 5 V and the resistor of 33k eventually reduced for better triac triggering.
