We found this circuit in a 1978 documentation. Its purpose is to avoid current spikes in a small lamp from 6 to 12 V up to 200 mA, when the power is established. Resistors R1 and R2 are calculated according to the lamp and the transistors admit equivalents such as BC558 for PNP and BC548 for NPN.
