We found this oscillator in a publication for radio amateurs from the 70s. The circuit generates signals according to the crystal and R1 can have values between 1k and 10k. The transistor can be 2N2222 or BF494. The signal is of low intensity, serving to excite power stages of a powerful transmitter, for example.
