This traditional crystal oscillator configuration with FET was found in the 1994 Linear Applications Handbook by National Semiconductor. The FET can be of any common type like the BF245 and the supply is made with voltages from 9 to 15 V. The RFC inductor depends on the frequency have values between 10 uH and 1 mH.
