With this circuit, from an American documentation from 1976, it is possible to measure capacitances from 25 pF to 10 uF. The circuit consists of an oscillator with a Wheatstone bridge that has a headset as null detector. The handset can be piezoelectric or even of another type. VR1 can be 4k7. Q1 can be a BC548 and Q2 a BC558.
