In the figure we have the configuration of a 200mV digital voltmeter (LED or LCD) using Intersil's converters. The circuit makes use of the internal voltage reference and the supply is 9 V for the LCD version and 5 V for the LED version. The circuit is from the 1983 Intersil Databook.
