We found this configuration in the ON Semiconductor thyristor manual. The triacs depend on the motor which must be a type with two windings for different directions of rotation. The circuit is controlled by optocouplers. Optical couplers are coupled to the microcontroller outputs with series resistors typically between 270 ohms and 330 ohms.
